Global Women’s Business & Professional Exchange Conference & Business Expo
The fourth edition of this event, this conference was a remarkable meeting and networking opportunity for global women and men dedicated to the business and professional empowerment of women and girls. It aimed to inspire and empower women and girls to achieve their full potential in the business world. The event featured diverse sessions focusing on essential aspects of business development, financing, wealth creation, social media marketing, business lead generation, and professional skill development.

Celebrating Global Women’s Professional & Business Empowerment
The event aimed to celebrate and empower women professionals and entrepreneurs globally. Her Excellency Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, delivered the keynote address. The former NBC 10 T.V. News Anchor, Renee Chenault, gracefully served as the Mistress of Ceremony, adding a touch of elegance to the occasion. Co-hosted by Councilwoman Janie Blackwell, the event provided an inspiring atmosphere for networking and empowerment.
Affordable Housing Investment Opportunities in Ghana
This event focused on investment opportunities in Ghana’s housing sector. Honorable Freda Prempeh, the Minister of Works and Housing in Ghana, delivered the keynote address. The forum provided insights into initiatives supporting public and private partnerships in the housing sector, attracting financiers, investors, real estate developers, and related stakeholders.

Driving Economic Change in Africa in the 21st Century: Ghana at the Forefront
This event explored the economic strides Africa has been making, with Ghana at the forefront of driving these dynamic changes. Her Excellency Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of Ghana, delivered an insightful keynote address highlighting Ghana’s pivotal role in the continent’s economic progress. Held at the University of Pennsylvania, this event brought together prominent academics, business leaders, and thought leaders from the United States and Ghana.
Networking Lunch & Business Roundtable Discussion on “Doing Business in Ghana”
Mr. Yofi Grant, the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, delivered a compelling keynote during this event. The focus was exploring private business opportunities in Ghana and forming strategic partnerships in key sectors such as agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, trade, fintech, ICT, tourism, energy, infrastructure development, and healthcare. The roundtable discussion brought together 50 top private sector CEOs and other stakeholders from Ghana for fruitful interactions.

Best Practices for Investing in Ghana — Opportunities and Resources
During this event, Ms. Mawuena Trebah, the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, shared valuable insights into investing in Ghana. The investment forum gave participants essential knowledge and resources for business in Ghana. A networking dinner immediately followed the forum, promoting further connections and collaborations. The Commerce Department of the City of Philadelphia co-hosted the event.
Private and Public Partnerships in Ghana Tourism
Honorable Dzifa Gomashie, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture in Ghana, delivered the keynote address for this event. She shed light on investment opportunities in Ghana’s tourism and culture sectors. Co-hosted by the Fox School of Business, Small Business Development Center, Temple University, this event aimed to enhance collaborations between public and private entities to drive Ghana’s tourism industry forward.
